⚡️ Michaëlina Wautier — who is this mysterious, enigmatic, and brilliant Lady of the Baroque, whose paintings have increased in price 100 (!!) times within just one year!
⚡️ A woman who was not allowed to study anatomy (17th century!) and had no access to nude models… yet painted the human body with astonishing anatomical precision!
⚡️ A woman whose works were long attributed to other artists or dismissed with the humiliating label “Rubens’ workshop” 😖

We will explore the remarkable works of Michaëlina Wautier (most of which have been specially brought for this exhibition), and then head to the rooftop — to the most beautiful museum café in Vienna, where Bella will tell us both the story of the construction of the twin museums and the history of the collection housed within ❤️‍🔥
