Act I. Ballet, Architecture & Evening Munich

October 17

🚆 10:28–14:45 — Vienna–Munich train journey (1st Class)

During the trip, Bella will share her lectures, and we will enjoy healthy snacks together 😌

Upon arrival, we will check into a beautiful 4-star hotel in the perfect location for our itinerary.

16:00–17:30 — Walking tour of Munich’s historic center:

✨ Frauenkirche and the famous “Devil’s Footprint”
✨ Fünf Höfe Passage — not for shopping, but for its remarkable indoor garden beneath a glass dome
✨ Odeonsplatz
✨ Hofgarten (Royal Garden)
✨ Marienplatz — the heart of the city

17:30–19:00 — Dinner at a wonderful restaurant.

🎭 19:30 — the highlight of our journey: a ballet triple bill at the Bavarian State Opera.

The theater itself rivals both the Vienna State Opera and La Scala in grandeur and elegance.

The program includes three one-act ballets by some of the most influential choreographers of our time:

• Cacti by Alexander Ekman — a witty and visually surprising work balancing contemporary dance and theater.

• IMPASSE by Johan Inger — a creation by one of Europe’s most fascinating choreographers, combining classical foundations with contemporary movement.

• Bella Figura by Jiří Kylián — a legendary masterpiece by a living ballet icon and one of the most influential figures in modern dance.

Bella will introduce us to each choreographer and their artistic world during the journey to Munich, and on our way back we will discuss and reflect on everything we have experienced.

Act II. The Great Masters of the Alte and Neue Pinakothek October 18

09:00–09:30 — Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
10:00–12:00 — Visit to two of Germany’s most important art museums.
